MORGANTON, N.C. (WBTV) - Six people were arrested at a Morganton motel last week after police seized drugs and guns in a multi-day operation.
The arrests were made on Friday, March 7 at the Super 8 Motel along South Sterling Street.
Officials said since Hurricane Helene, police had nearly 80 calls for complaints of criminal and drug activity at the motel.
Due to this, officers carried out a three-day operation, and during it, they made six arrests after finding two guns, meth, fentanyl, Xanax, weed, cocaine, and suboxone.

The public safety department noted the motel is accepting FEMA vouchers for temporary housing, though it wasn't immediately clear if those arrested were using them.
