Hunter Stratton and Will Wagner are back in the big leagues.

Stratton was promoted to the Atlanta Braves for the fourth time this season from Triple-A Gwinnett, while Wagner joined the San Diego Padres.

Stratton, a Sullivan East High School graduate, has pitched to the tune of a 0.00 ERA and has notched a save in three outings for Atlanta this year after being acquired from the Pittsburgh Pirates in a July 1 trade.

The 28-year-old right-hander has pitched in 50 regular-season MLB games over the past three years with the Pirates and Braves. He has a 2.83 ERA in 29 outings in the minor leagues this summer.

The son of Southwest Virginia legend and National Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2025 inductee Billy Wagner, Will Wagner made his debut in a San Diego uniform on Sunday.

After being promoted from Triple-A El Paso, he entered San Diego's 8-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers as a pinch-hitter and grounded out against Kirby Yates.

The Toronto Blue Jays traded Wagner to San Diego on July 31 and he hit .270 with two homers and 17 RBIs at El Paso before being called up. The former Liberty University star made his MLB debut last year.
