Lil Uzi Vert Teases New Daddy Yankee-Sampling Track on IShowSpeed Stream

Lil Uzi Vert has teased a new track on IShowSpeed's livestream -- and it samples a mid-2000s Daddy Yankee hook.

The Philadelphia rapper met up with Speed in New York this week as part of the streamer's Speed Does America Tour. After putting their skateboard skills to the test, the pair talked music leaks, which led to IShowSpeed playing an unreleased Uzi track he declared "a banger."

The track, which samples "Yo Voy," a 2004 record by Zion & Lennox featuring Daddy Yankee, is just one of a series of Uzi leaks that have hit the internet over the past few years. Listen to the teaser shared by IShowSpeed around the 41:15 mark in the video below.

The Daddy Yankee-sampling track wasn't the only new music IShowSpeed teased on the stream. The conversation started when a fan on the stream asked Speedy to play some of Uzi's leaks, after which he told the rapper he was going to play his favorite of his most recent leaks.

"Everyone's always got a favorite leak of me, bro," Uzi told Speed on the stream, after which the streamer played the "Just Wanna Rock" hitmaker's version of Kanye West's "All of the Lights."

"You gotta drop, bro," Speedy told Uzi. "You trippin'. You gotta drop."

Uzi then proceeded to tell the streamer that he was greedy.

"Y'all just want everything," he said, before asking: "How am I gonna drop it if y'all just take it? Y'all take the leaks."

The pair then had a brief discussion about leaks and how to prevent them, although Uzi said there's no way to prevent leaks.

"It's just part of the system," he claimed.

Eventually, giving in to IShowSpeed's request for an answer on when he will be dropping new music, Uzi turned it around, asking when he should drop.

"Right now, bro. This month. Next month. It don't matter. It don't matter when you wanna drop," the streamer replied. "I'd say drop before this year, that's what I would say. Because if you don't drop before this year, they're gonna be like, 'What the fuck?'"

Lil Uzi Vert's last full-length album was 2024's Eternal Atake 2, which followed 2023's highly anticipated Pink Tape.
