Tony Khan planning to reunite legendary trio at AEW Full Gear 2025 - Reports

A trio played a major role in establishing AEW as it is today. However, with time, the difference between them grew. Young Bucks and Kenny Omega will stand across the ring at Full Gear. While Josh Alexander will accompany the Bucks, the Jurassic Express will support the Cleaner. The winner of the six-man tag team match will get one million dollars.

The Young Bucks are in dire financial straits, having been broke since losing their EVP status. Jack Perry returned at All Out and has been after them since they abandoned him. After a lot of complicated interactions over the week, the trios match was made official.

Despite the differences between the former Elite members, Matt and Nick Jackson were hesitant to face their former friend. The trio even teased getting back together at AEW WrestleDream, but couldn't put their differences behind them.

While Kenny and the Young Bucks will be on opposite teams at Full Gear, Dave Meltzer believes they may reunite sooner than later. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, the journalist noted that the Bucks weren't happy to face Omega and that the trio might reunite down the line.

"Yeah, but it also felt like they didn't want to wrestle Kenny Omega. They may be building up to where they get back with Kenny," Dave said. [H/T - Wrestling INC.]

Matt and Nick Jackson were heels for the last couple of years, and therefore, Kenny and Hangman have stopped associating them with the Bucks.

On the Battleground Podcast, the Young Bucks said they might reunite before all the members of the group retire.

"I'm not saying that's gonna happen, but I think it'd be silly to not do it before we call it quits, before Kenny calls it quits, before Hangman calls it quits. I think that there's money in it, and I think it would be ridiculous not to revisit it at least one more time," said Matt Jackson.

It will be interesting to see what goes down at AEW Full Gear.
