Dana Evans is only 27 years old but is already chasing the second WNBA championship of her career. Fans of the Gary native can cheer her on as she nears that milestone Friday.

Evans' AAU team, Team Evans 11, is hosting a watch party for Game 4 of the WNBA Finals at Up Your Alley in Schererville on Friday at 7 p.m. Evans and the Las Vegas Aces could be in position to sweep the Phoenix Mercury.

Fans are encouraged to sport Aces' colors -- black and white -- as Las Vegas closes in on a championship.

The Aces lead the Mercury two games to none ahead of Thursday night's Game 3.

Evans was instrumental in the Aces Game 1 win, tying for the game-high in points with 21 on 8-of-13 shooting, including a blistering 5-of-6 from 3-point range. In Game 2, Evans tallied five points and five assists in 26 minutes off the bench.
