Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.77% By Investing.com

Investing.com - Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the TA Oil & Gas, TA-RealEstate Index and TA-Insurance & Financial Services Index sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.77% to hit a new all time high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Navitas Petroleum LP Unit (TASE:NVPTp), which rose 9.45% or 950.00 points to trade at 11,000.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 5.26% or 211.00 points to end at 4,226.00 and Shufersal (TASE:SAE) was up 4.10% or 163.00 points to 4,141.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 0.36% or 110.00 points to trade at 30,250.00 in late trade. Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) declined 0.12% or 2.00 points to end at 1,625.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) up 0.18% or 40.00 points to 21,820.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 324 to 130 and 89 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.78% or 1.11 to $63.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.65% or 1.09 to hit $67.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 7.82 to trade at $3,685.22 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.89% to 3.34, while EUR/ILS rose 0.62% to 3.92.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 97.58.
