For the 2025 Wheeler Presents series, the Wheeler Opera House will deliver an electrifying array of fall and holiday shows.
This year's program includes a high-energy homage to Bruce Springsteen by Hank Azaria and the EZ Street Band, plus a "spellbinding" New Year's Eve with Las Vegas's acclaimed illusionist Jen Kramer. Audiences can also look forward to the dynamic narratives of Mountainfilm on Tour, the heartfelt melodies of Iris DeMent, and the infectious ABBA spirit brought by Arrival from Sweden. The new year launches with a double feature from John Mulaney, whose sharp humor and celebrated stand-up promise a fantastic kickoff to 2026.
An evening with "Mountainfilm on Tour" will bring a handpicked selection of Spanish-language programming, including film shorts from the Telluride Mountain Film Festival. The series spotlights stories of environmental stewardship, cultural identity, adventure, and resilience.

Wheeler presents an exclusive preview of the theatrical dance production of Cost n' Mayor and Hideaway Circus' "11 to Midnight." The piece is being developed in Aspen before it heads for Broadway in 2026.

Soulful Irish Dement, playing in a trio, will bring the music from her latest album, "Workin' on a World," to Aspen. The 13 tracks blend gospel, country, and protest traditions. DeMent's unique voice aims to inspire hope and reflection, honoring both social justice champions and personal journeys.

Renowned mandolinist and national champion Jacob Jolliff will lead his band in an evening of progressive bluegrass. The set will feature their 2024 release, "Instrumentals, Vol. 2: Mandolin Mysteries," original instrumentals, and unexpected covers.

The star-studded festive variety show includes John Oates, William H. Macy, Beth Malone, the Crystal Palace Players, Jim Horowitz, Mack Bailey, and more, with everything from soulful ballads to singalongs.

DanceAspen will perform a vibrant, family-friendly performance featuring lively costumes and choreography. After the show, there will be cocoa, cookies, and photos with the dancers in a festively decorated lobby. This 30-minute event is a perfect holiday outing for families, co-presented with DanceAspen and Paradise Bakery.

Internationally celebrated pianist and composer Chloe Flower will bring her signature blend of classical and contemporary music to the Wheeler for a one-night holiday concert. She will perform reimagined seasonal classics and selections from her upcoming album -- the first instrumental holiday collection dedicated to female composers.

For this matinee, the Telluride Mountain Film Festival will bring a curated selection of short documentaries celebrating curiosity, creativity, and courage.

The multi-talented Kate Hudson will return to Aspen with her band to showcase her debut album, "Glorious." Hudson's music reflects her Colorado roots and diverse influences.

Hank Azaria will be on deck for a spirited tribute to Bruce Springsteen, combining rock concert energy with theatrical storytelling. Azaria's performance, praised as a "lively and heartfelt celebration," features spot-on vocals and personal anecdotes about the Boss's influence on his life.

Abba fans, get ready! Arrival from Sweden, known as the world's premier ABBA tribute, will be presenting Abba tunes with a full live band, costumes, and spot-on vocals.
