To celebrate the return of Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda -- take a look back at the core cast of Sex and the City, then and now.
Parker had been acting for years (Square Pegs, L.A. Story, The First Wives Club) before she landed the role that catapulted her to superstardom: cosmopolitan-drinking, hopeless romantic Carrie Bradshaw on the groundbreaking HBO show Sex and the City (SATC), which debuted in 1998.
Celebrated performers of both stage and screen, Broderick is a two-time Tony Award winner, and Parker is a two-time Emmy Award winner. In 2022, Parker and Broderick costarred in the Broadway revival of Neil Simon's Plaza Suite.
At the end of And Just Like That... season 2, Carrie says goodbye to her Upper East Side apartment and agreed to a five-year break with Aidan, though the trailer for season 3 teases that they are still in touch as Carrie attempts to "figure it out."
