Officers found the man after responding to a shooting call at Kings Meat Market on 34th Street South.

A man was fatally shot outside a meat market in St. Petersburg Wednesday morning, police said.

Officers responded about 8:30 a.m. to a call about a person shot at Kings Meat Market, 1345 34th St. S, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department. They found a man with a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police have not released the man's name or any other information.
