Hyundai plans to introduce their premium brand, Genesis, in India by 2027 to compete with luxury carmakers like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi. The vehicles will be designed in Germany, Korea, and California, with most being manufactured in South Korea. The brand aims to offer competitive pricing by locally assembling the vehicles in India, with a line-up of sedans and SUVs, including the GV model.
