The Montvale, New Jersey-based company said it had net income of $1.24 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.35 per share.

The chemical company posted revenue of $267.6 million in the period.

Blachem shares have declined 7.5% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 12% in the last 12 months.
