Putting an end to the anxious wait of fans, Electronic Arts (EA) finally rolled out Battlefield 6 globally on Friday, October 10, 2025, with servers going live at 8:30 PM IST. After months of teasers and speculation, the next-generation Battlefield 6 is finally available to play on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Players who had preloaded the game got early access. As for pricing, the Standard Edition is available at Rs 3,999, while the Phantom Edition costs Rs 5,999 and offers exclusive vehicle skins and weapon cosmetics.
Battlefield 6 retains the franchise's signature all-out warfare but adds a new twist with realistic weather effects, modern combat, and smoother mechanics that make the gameplay feel more lifelike.
Players can now hide behind cover, hop onto moving vehicles, or carry a fallen teammate to safety, adding a more tactical feel to each battle. The story focuses on Dagger 13, a marine raider tasked with stopping the rogue military group Pax Armata before they cause global destruction. From New York's streets to the Sahara's deserts, each mission is cinematic but keeps the action fast and intense.
The game's multiplayer mode makes the Battlefield experience more realistic. There are nine massive maps, bringing back popular modes like Conquest and Breakthrough. The faster modes include King of the Hill, Domination, and Payload.
You can choose from four main classes - Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon - each with unique gadgets and ways to play. The popular Battlefield Portal is back too, allowing players to customise matches, adjust map rules, and mix in features from previous Battlefield games.
For the best experience, it's suggested to use Windows 11 with an Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor, a Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti or AMD RX 6700 XT graphics card, at least 16 GB of RAM, and 80 GB of available storage.
