Startup Crawl returns to the square Sept. 26

An event featuring live music, local brews, and highlighting new local businesses is set to return to Fayetteville next week.

Startup Junkie's seventh annual Startup Crawl will take place at various locations around the square on Friday, Sept. 26.

The event begins with check in at 1 East Center Drive at 5 p.m. where crawl attendees can purchase beer passes and pick up their pint glasses and swag. From there, they can make their way to locations around the square to visit with local startups, sample local brews, visit a food truck, or check out some live music.

Performers at this year's event include Hall and Oates cover band, The Yachties and Joplin-based rock band, Me Like Bees on the main stage outside the Fayetteville Town Center. The Yachties will play at around 5 p.m., and Me Like Bees will play at 7:30 p.m.

The event is free to attend, but if you'd like to partake in the local brews, you'll need a beer pass ranging from around $23-$40. Passes and other information can be found via the event ticketing site.

The event is organized by Startup Junkie, an organization that encourages innovation and entrepreneurship in NWA.
