The team behind East Lancashire's most successful restaurant have launched a new outside catering venture.
Northcote, the Michelin-star restaurant and hotel, in Langho, has launched Blooming Onion Bespoke Events, which aims to bring a fresh menu and event planning services to homes and businesses across the UK.
Under the direction of chef patron-director Lisa Goodwin-Allen, the business is looking to deliver gourmet experiences for both corporate and private parties.
Offering a more versatile style of food, the restaurant will expand its offering, whilst still retaining all the quality and attention to detail.
This includes in-home dinners, garden barbecues and canape receptions, with the team offering everything from fine dining to street-food style cooking.
Lisa said: "Clients will provide the criteria, and we'll provide the magic.
"The name Northcote at Home put us in a box, meaning that it was very much about creating Northcote food in a home environment,"
"With Blooming Onion, we will do anything from a barbecue to a canapé event, or something more elaborate, whether it is in the home, a corporate location or at another venue."
To ensure consistent quality of food and delivery, the Blooming Onion will be undertaken by Lisa's kitchen brigade, with the catering team employed directly by Northcote.
Craig Bancroft, managing director of Northcote, said: "All of the team members engaged in Blooming Onion projects will be Northcote F&B team members to ensure the delivery is consistent, genuine and matches Northcote's high standards.
"We will aim to grow the team at Northcote as the catering arm of the business expands."

The name Blooming Onion is inspired by Lisa's favourite ingredient, which says that when treated with flair and imagination can become a culinary centrepiece.
At the end of March, Lisa decided to step away from Northcote due to challenges in securing the investment required to take the restaurant further.
However, the hotel has now been taken over by Alf and Clare Ellis, the husband-and-wife team behind the successful Pontefract-based kitchen manufacturer Ultima.
Since the takeover, Northcote has set out a new vision which looks to take the restaurant's cultural legacy into new spaces and bringing expert services directly to customers across the UK.
