A man with multiple stab wounds was transported to hospital on Friday and underwent surgery, Winnipeg police say.
Police were called to the scene of a commercial business on Maryland Street, between Wellington and Notre Dame Avenues, around 8:30 p.m. after a man had been stabbed, police said.
Police provided emergency medical treatment to a 23-year-old man, including the use of multiple chest seals and a tourniquet, a release said on Sunday.
The victim was rushed to hospital in unstable condition and was later upgraded to stable following surgery, police said.
