LUCENA CITY - A 27-year-old female Vietnamese was found wounded in Bacoor City, Cavite on Friday, August 29, after she was allegedly robbed and stabbed in Pasay City, police said.
In a report on Saturday, the Calabarzon regional police said the victim, identified as "Le Thi Bao Yen," was brought by a concerned citizen to the barangay hall in Talaba 2 at around 11 p.m.
The victim told investigators that at around 8:30 p.m., she was fetched by a Chinese friend in Pasay City and boarded a Toyota Innova.
After the vehicle stopped, an unidentified male suddenly boarded, stabbed the victim on both legs and the side of her stomach.
The suspect also took her personal belongings, including a mobile phone, and fled.
The unidentified Chinese friend continued driving until they reached Talaba 2 and reported the incident to the authorities.
The victim was brought to a local hospital for medical treatment. The report did not provide further information on the victim.

The Bacoor police informed the Pasay City Police Station of the incident for their further investigation to identify and arrest the suspect. /jpv
