The Pittsburgh Steelers kick off OTAs on Tuesday and it feels like it's been a lifetime since the NFL draft wrapped up. OTAs don't allow for full contact but we will get to see team drills and the first look at lots of new players and another look at some old ones. Here is what we will be watching for at OTAs.
With no Aaron Rodgers in the fold, all eyes will be on rookie Will Howard. We can't wait to see the varying opinions about how good or bad Howard looks as the media attempts to either placate or disappoint the fanbase about the rookie.
The healthy returns of offensive tackle Troy Fautanu and wide receiver Roman Wilson will be key to the team's success in 2025. Fautanu is coming in as the starting right tackle this season and Wilson should be in the fold to be the team's No. 3 receiver.
Yes, we will be watching to see if Rodgers comes out of his darkness retreat early and shows up an OTAs. No we don't expect it but we will be watching for it just like everyone else.
The Steelers have multiple defensive backs who can move around the secondary and we want to see where head coach Mike Tomlin and defensive coordinator Teryl Austin put guys. In particular, rookie safety Sebastian Castro and cornerback Cory Trice Jr.
