After being in the limelight for many decades, it's no surprise that a few of Kim Kardashian's red carpet looks might look similar to one another from time to time. But, when it comes to her look at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party yesterday, we're seeing double - and it might be from a memory Kardashian would rather forget.

On the red carpet last night, Kardashian wore a white strapless ballgown from custom Balenciaga Haute Couture. The dress, which had a textured pleated fabric, has a billowing ballgown in the front and a more figure-flattering outline in the back.

She paired the dress with a slicked-back bun and clean, glowy makeup.

But, despite the unique twist in the back of the dress, fans looking at the photos will surely be reminded of her wedding dress to Kris Humphries.

Back in Aug. 20, 2011, Kardashian got married for the second time to former basketball player Humphries. And while the pair were only famously married for 72 days (Kardashian filed for divorce on October 31), Kardashian's wedding look made a quite a mark when the whole wedding was televised on her show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

On the day, she wore a custom Vera Wang ballgown with a strapless scooped neckline (see it here!). She accessorized the look with a veil and bejeweled headpiece.

Now, over a decade later, it seems Kardashian is revisiting the style and giving her newest take on the look. With a simpler makeup look and minimalist accessories, she's showing just how far her fashion has come.

Plus, whether or not the nod to her wedding dress was on purpose, Kardashian was just one of the stars who wore wedding dresses to last night's festivities. Brenda Song, Chrissy Teigen, Lauren Sánchez and Jodie Turner-Smith were all also rocking wedding-ready looks. She's a trendsetter, from 2011 to now!
