Macaulay Culkin is so loyal to brother Kieran Culkin that the only 2025 Oscars moment he watched was his younger sibling's win!
Macaulay and wife Brenda Song stepped out at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party where they shared their reaction to Kieran winning the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in A Real Pain. "The Best Supporting Actor [is] the only thing I watched," Macaulay told Tan France on the Vanity Fair red carpet livestream. "True story, true story."
As for whether he had been in touch with his younger brother after his monumental win, Macaulay revealed he had saying, "I cried. And I was like, 'I'm gonna see you later.'" But, he wasn't 100% sure when he'd be able to catch up with Kieran, adding, "He's busy. He's an award-winning actor."
Never one to take things too seriously, Macaulay joked that he knew his brother would win as soon as he saw where he was sitting in the audience. "He was front row aisle, closest to the stairs," he said. "There was no way he was not going to win."
Kieran was the night's first winner, beating out A Complete Unknown star Edward Norton, The Brutalist star Guy Pearce and The Apprentice star Jeremy Strong.
His hilarious speech dredged up a promise his wife made to him to have more kids which means Macaulay and Song's two sons might have more cousins on the way soon.
"A year ago, I said that I wanted a third kid, because she said if I won the award, she would give me the kid. Turns out she said that because she didn't think I was going to win," he said of wife Jazz Charton. "Anyway, after the show, we're walking through a parking lot. She's holding the Emmy and she goes, 'Oh, god, I did say that. I guess I owe you a third kid.'
"I turned to her and said, 'Really, I want four.' And she turned to me -- I swear to god this happened -- and said, 'I will give you four when you win an Oscar.' I held my hand out, she shook it and I have not brought it up once until just now. You remember that, honey?"
"Then I just have to say to you, Jazz, love of my life, ye of little faith, no pressure," he joked. "I love you. I'm really sorry I did this again. And let's get cracking on those kids. What do you say? I love you. I love. I love you."
