A Bury St Edmunds charity has received the gold award from a national competition.
Bury in Bloom, has been awarded a Gold at the Britain in Bloom Awards Ceremony 2025.
The charity was nominated for the Large Town category, where they were up against 8 others across the UK, including Thornbury and Oswestry.
Chris Wiley, Coordinator of Bury in Bloom said "It was a real privilege to be nominated for the National competition this year, and it gave the whole team and town in general a real boost which, in turn, attracted many more residents and businesses to become involved in our day-to-day activities."
"I would like to say a huge thanks to all of our volunteers, sponsors and supporters, as without them there would simply be no Bury in Bloom."
Working alongside businesses and the local Councils, Bury in Bloom is focussed on improving the floral impact around the town.
Sponsorship is gained from roundabouts and other project sponsors to keep the charity afloat and working for the benefit of Bury St Edmunds.
