ECHOSPORT talks to Brackley Town fan Andy Bannard ahead of Saturday's clash at Roots Hall.
Brackley are currently 15th in the table. What have you made of the start to the season and has it been a big step up in standard from National League North?

"In terms of standard personally I don't think it's that much of a big step up.
"We've played a number of the sides in cup matches and even the so called or typecast 'big sides' in the division we have gone toe to toe with proving we are here for a reason and not just to have that 'season in the sun' and make up numbers
What are the hopes for this season and what do you think can be achieved?
"I think any club in the league would stay staying up if asked that no matter who they are.
"I think if we have a strong season we can finish in a good mid-table spot.
"The squad has the potential but you have to be realistic about things anything between 10th to 14th would be good."
This will be the first time the teams have met. What can you tell us about the club?
"Well I think we are well known as the bridesmaids of the playoffs after the amount of years we have been in the National League North ones and missed out.
"It was amazing and deserved to finally be champions.
"Although we are a small club in terms of location, fanbase etc the way the club is run is well organised and everyone is proud of the achievements on and off the pitch.
"It's been a steady hard rise up the leagues to get to where we are and we probably are unknowns, most people when they ask where Brackley is you just say near Silverstone.
"The FA Trophy win obviously put us on that national radar to many but we are just a small market town up now with the big teams in non-league with more ambition still."
You signed former Southend striker Danny Waldron in the summer. How has he been doing?
"Very impressive so far.
"Signings like him just show the intent the club has to achieve in this division
Who have been your best players this season and who is the danger man?
"Always a tricky question this.
"Matt Lowe has been outstanding and Gaz Dean is still showing how we have such a solid defence with his leadership and organisation.
"He is such a quality defender.
"We've been a bit blighted with injuries to some of the players especially the new lads.
"Michael Nottingham has impressed me when he's been playing and is another great signing.
"Dangerman, I would say this year would be Morgan Roberts.
"His work-rate and effort are fantastic.
"He has come into his own and has just been an absolute handful for all the opponents we have played so far."
