Everything we know so far after Watford stabbing leaves man fighting for life
The helicopter's presence was unrelated to a heavy emergency services presence elsewhere in town after a stabbing in West Watford on Sunday evening (October 12).
Police found a 34-year-old man near an address in Franklin Avenue with wounds to his neck and another under his arm.
He was taken to hospital via air ambulance and is in a critical condition, police said.
The force believe it was an isolated incident involving people known to one another.
