How to watch Penn State at the 2025 Big Ten wrestling tournament this weekend

Penn State wrestling is ready to defend its spot atop the Big Ten wrestling world once again as the Big Ten's wrestling tournament gets underway this weekend in Evanston, Illinois. The No. 1 ranked Nittany Lions will have everyone gunning for them this year after winning the Big Ten team crown each of the past two seasons and the NCAA team championship each of the past three years. Penn State wrestling seemingly has everyone fighting for second place, but they still have to go to the mat like everyone else in the tournament this weekend.

The two-day event will see eight members of the Big Ten wrestling powerhouse getting a first-round bye based on the seedings, including five top seeds. Big Ten wrestling is always challenging though with No. 2 Iowa, No. 5 Nebraska, No. 6 Minnesota, and No. 7 Ohio State all looking to threaten Penn State's title defense.

Here is how to watch the 2025 Big Ten wrestling tournament.

Coverage of the Big Ten wrestling tournament will be available all weekend on Big Ten Network with coverage beginning at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday for Session 1 (First round, quarterfinals, wrestlebacks). The Big Ten Network will resume coverage for Session 2 (consolation matches, wrestlebacks) beginning at 8 p.m. ET on B1G+ (Session 2 will not air on BTN).

Sunday's coverage will begin at 1 p.m. with Session 3 (consolation semifinals, 7th-place matches) on B1G+ (not on Big Ten Network). Finally, Session 4 coverage for the 1st, 3rd, and 5th-place matches will begin airing at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Coverage of the Big Ten wrestling tournament will be available on the Big Ten Network's streaming platform all weekend. You can get set up with an account using the link below.

Not surprisingly, Penn State will enter the Big Ten tournament as a favorite to win the team championship as the nation's no. 1 program coming in. Penn State will have five of the No. 1 seeds in the tournament; Beau Bartlett (141 lb; 18-0), Shayne Van Ness (17-1), Mitchell Mesenbrink (165 lb, 19-0), Levi Haines (174 lb, 17-1), and Carter Starocci (184 lb, 18-0).

Tyler Kasak (157 lb, 14-1), Josh Barr (197 lb, 15-1), and Greg Kerkvilet (285 lb, 16-0) are each No. 2 seeds in the Big Ten tournament and will also receive a first-round bye in the tournament in their respective weight classes.
