If WWE fans had listened to Logan Paul, then nobody would have been surprised to see John Cena's heel turn.
In Toronto at WWE Elimination Chamber, The Rock, with Travis Scott at his side, attempted to recruit Cody Rhodes, insisting he become his champion. Rhodes refused, leading The Rock to enlist John Cena.
After securing a WrestleMania title match against Rhodes by winning the Men's Elimination Chamber, Cena turned heel and initiated a brutal assault on Rhodes, further fueled by The Rock and Travis Scott's interference.
Paul has expressed considerable respect for Cena, while there are also instances where Cena has praised Paul's ability to transition into the WWE world. Paul was one of the stars in the Elimination Chamber Match.
However, he came short of making it to the final two. He had been the US Champion throughout the majority of 2024 before losing it to LA Knight at SummerSlam.
In his latest vlog, Paul addressed Cena's heel turn, claiming he had predicted it weeks prior. He also discussed the merits of being a heel, arguing that portraying a "good guy" is unrealistic.
"What a crazy heel turn, man. Just when you think you know a guy. I actually predicted this and people roasted me for it. Look like a few vlogs ago, look at the thumbnail, what is it? John Cena betrayed me -- Thumbnail pointing to him, it says snake.
I didn't know he was going to turn on Cody, but I read the writing on the wall and guess what, I was fucking right. Oh, it's gonna be so good. I love Cena heel. Being a heel is f**king sick, being a good guy is not realistic.
All you motherf**kers parading around like you're perfect, you're not. We couldn't see John Cena for 25 years but now John, we see you brother."
AJ Styles is set to call out Logan Paul on next week's episode of WWE Raw. Perhaps, WWE is building to a match between the two stars at WrestleMania.
