Manchester-based F&M Bank has promoted Nathaniel Dunn to president and CEO, the third generation of the Dunn family to lead the regional financial institution.
The F&M Bank board of directors unanimously approved the appointment of Dunn, who joined the bank 11 years ago to focus on business development, client relations and commercial banking. He most recently has served as executive vice president and chief credit officer.
Dunn earned his diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014. He is based in the Cedar Rapids market.
Mike Dunn, F&M Bank chairman, said Nate Dunn has been instrumental in the growth of the bank.
'His knowledge of the communities we serve and his leadership qualities will prove invaluable as he builds strategies across our markets," Mike Dunn said.
Nate Dunn serves with the Big Brothers Big Sisters-Bowl for Kids Sake, Junior Achievement as a classroom volunteer, Downtown Rotary and First Lutheran Church. He also is on the board of the Iowa Midwest Insurance Co. and the Eastern Iowa Junior Achievement Board.
F&M Bank, with total assets in excess of $580 million, has offices in Cedar Rapids, Anamosa, Clarion, Eagle Grove, Goldfield, Manchester, Monticello and Lino Lakes and Vadnais Heights, Minn.
