A woman in her 50s has died after an incident allegedly involving a bus in Mitcham.

Officers were called to reports of a medical incident in Eastfields Road at around 9.40pm yesterday (October 18).

London Ambulance Service crews also attended, however, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her next of kin has been informed.

Police enquiries continue into whether the woman had been in crash with a bus.

Officers are working to establish the exact circumstances.
