While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, AJ Styles was asked whose decision it was for him to bring back his old theme song and why. Styles revealed it was his decision to bring back the song and also to change the song in the first place.

Styles explained that when he was a heel, he felt his previous theme was too popular and well-liked, which didn't match the character he was trying to portray. He wanted fans to dislike him, so he thought changing the song would make them upset, which was exactly what he wanted.

"Yeah, that was my call. It was my decision to change it too. As a bad guy, I thought my song was a little too cool -- everyone loves that song -- but that's not who I was trying to be. I wanted people to dislike me, to despise me. I figured if I changed the song, the fans would hate it -- perfect."

When AJ Styles planned his return as a babyface again, he decided to bring back his old music. No one questioned it, and everyone agreed it was fine. In the end, it was entirely his choice.

"Then, when I knew I was coming back as a good guy again, I wanted my old music back. Nobody said anything -- they were just like, 'Yep, that's fine.' So yeah, that was my decision."

AJ Styles has been part of Monday Night RAW since his return and interacting with the likes of Logan Paul, Dominik Mysterio and Karrion Kross. Therefore, it remains to be seen what kind of match The Phenomenal One will have at WrestleMania 41, as fans feel he deserves a solid bout this time around.
