Pottery, pies and mulled wine await at this magical Devon craft fair | Devon Live

Christmas shoppers are in for a handmade treat as one of North Devon 's largest arts and crafts fairs returns to Swimbridge with over 45 stalls offering unique gifts and local creations.

Now in its 21st year, the Swimbridge Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair will be held on Saturday, November 29, from 10am to 4pm. The event spans three charming village venues: Swimbridge Jubilee Hall, the Grade I-listed St James Church, and the Upper Old School Room.

Organiser Julie Whitton said: "This popular event is a hive of activity with lots of unique 'not on the High Street' and hand-crafted Christmas gifts to choose from, and scrumptious cake and delicious lunches will be available. We are looking forward to another festive event."

Visitors can expect to find a wide range of high-quality, locally made gifts - including pottery, hand-painted glass, stitched bags, jewellery, and country crafts - perfect for anyone seeking a one-of-a-kind present.

Adding to the festive flavour, organisers will be serving mince pies with clotted cream and fruity mulled wine in the hall. Meanwhile, hearty meals will be available in the village pub.

This year's fair also features children's activities in the local pre-school, helping to entertain little ones while adults browse the stalls.

All proceeds from the event will support Swimbridge Jubilee Hall, St James Church, and Swimbridge Pre-school.
