The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to get back on track after an eye-opening 11-4 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays in World Series Game 1.
The Dodgers will have right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the mound, coming off one of the best pitching performances in Dodgers postseason history, when he threw a complete game, allowing just one run on a solo home run on the first pitch of the game.
Overall this postseason, Yamamoto has made three starts, sporting a 1.83 ERA with 18 strikeouts across 19.2 innings.
Opposite Yamamoto will be right-hander Kevin Gausman, who's made four appearances and three starts this postseason. Overall, he's pitched 18 innings, sporting a 2.00 ERA with 12 strikeouts.
The Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays face off in World Series Game 1 on Saturday, Oct. 25 with first pitch scheduled for 5 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast on Fox.
