With his long-awaited retirement match looming, Goldberg is keeping an eye on who's carrying WWE into the future -- and he's got a short list of names that have caught his attention.
Speaking on The Claw Podcast with Ross and Marshall Von Erich, Goldberg admitted he doesn't watch as much WWE as he used to, but there are still a few stars who've earned his respect.
"I'll be honest, I don't watch much of it. I can't really give an educated guess there. I think one guy who's really doing well... what's his name... married to Becky Lynch... ('Seth Rollins?') - Seth, yeah. Seth's grown so much in this business over the past 10 years."
He didn't stop there. Goldberg praised Randy Orton for his legacy, Cody Rhodes for his resurgence, and Logan Paul for adapting so fast despite being a newcomer to the business.
"Randy Orton's obviously Randy frickin' Orton. The lineage speaks for itself. Cody Rhodes, he's done unbelievable in the past."
"Logan Paul, to be able to come in and not be someone from the business and to be able to pick it up so quickly and to be innovative at the same time. I was new, I was from the outside, so I get it."
But the name Goldberg talked about most was Bron Breakker, son of Rick Steiner.
"Steiner's kid (Bron Breakker), frickin' doing unbelievable. We talk a lot. I talk to him more than any other current wrestlers for sure. He's just a great kid, we're friends."
Goldberg's last WWE appearance was in October 2024 at Bad Blood, where he had a brief showdown with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. With rumors swirling about a final match at Saturday Night's Main Event in Atlanta this July, fans are already speculating who might stand across the ring for his last run.
