In Part 4 of a Sunday miniseries, we asked members of the high school Class of 2025: What are the top three items on your 10-year bucket list?
CHANNING BYERS, Mahomet-Seymour
1. Get a job at CBS as studio analyst and a sideline reporter.
2. Play 100 different golf courses.
3. Start a family with the girl of my dreams.
ADDISON SPESARD, Georgetown-Ridge Farm
1. Skydive with my dad. I think it would be such a cool experience.
2. Hike around the Grand Canyon with all my friends.
3. Learn how to surf in Hawaii because it's so pretty there.
KENDALL RANNEBARGER, Danville
1. See a Savannah Bananas baseball game in Savannah, Georgia.
2. Travel across the world and see famous architecture, museums and attractions.
3. Go skydiving, paragliding or ziplining in beautiful nature spots.
WADE CLONINGER, Rantoul Township
1. Create some sort of tennis/pickleball league in the Rantoul area. It doesn't have to be monetized -- more of a just-for-fun type of thing with my friends and anyone else in the community who would like to participate. I want it to feel official, though, with schedules and a social media page and what not. We could offer some sort of prize pool to the winners to make it more interesting.
2. Reunite with my current friend group in five or so years. Everyone is going to different colleges and has different plans, so we likely won't see each other for a while, and I'd like to have a day where we all just get together and catch up, just like in high school.
3. Go watch the Summer Olympics in Australia in 2032. I've always wanted to travel outside of the country, and I also have a love of track. It would be awesome to travel out of the country and watch not only the best track athletes in the world compete, but also take a lavish vacation at the same time.
CAIDEN HELMUTH, Arcola
1. Start a family.
2. Travel to five different countries.
3. Take over the family farm to keep it going for the future.
WRIGLEY O'BRIEN, Danville Schlarman
1. Watch Notre Dame win a championship.
2. Get buff.
3. Make a lot of money.
PARKER RUBENKING, Fisher
1. Work on a Hollywood film set.
2. Get season tickets for the Chicago Bears.
3. Travel to Singapore.
HADLEY PIERCE, Salt Fork
1. Travel the world.
2. Graduate from college.
3. Learn a new language.
GAGE VOGEL, Milford
1. Travel to every state and try their state's official food.
2. Convince someone that I am from the future.
3. Have an argument with a store mannequin in the middle of public.
JAKE KOCHER, Iroquois West
1. Go skydiving.
2. Visit all the national monuments in the U.S.
3. Own my own cattle ranch in Texas.
