Actress Bhoomi Shetty, who shared a close bond with late actor-comedian Raju Talikote during their stint on Bigg Boss Kannada Season 7, has expressed deep shock and sorrow over his sudden demise. The veteran actor passed away following a cardiac arrest in Udupi late Sunday night, leaving the Kannada entertainment industry and his fans in grief. Speaking about the heartbreaking news exclusively with ETimes, Bhoomi revealed that she had spoken to Raju Talikote just a couple of days before his passing. "I spoke to him day before yesterday. I'm still in shock to hear this news now. I initially did not believe it," she said, her voice breaking with emotion. "When I cross-checked, his son confirmed the news to me. Life feels so unpredictable." Bhoomi recalled that Raju was full of energy and positivity the last time they interacted. "He was speaking so happily, cracking jokes as always. He never gave the slightest hint of being unwell. It's tough to digest that he is no longer with us," she added."Every Moment in Bigg Boss Was Memorable" Bhoomi Shetty and Raju Talikote shared a warm friendship during their time together in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 7. Reminiscing about their bond inside the house, Bhoomi said, "Every moment we spent in Bigg Boss was memorable. We survived nearly 80-plus days together. It was an emotional roller coaster." She fondly remembered Raju's cheerful personality, describing him as the 'heart of the house.' "He was always laughing, entertaining everyone, and lightening up tense moments. Even when others were down, Raju sir had this rare ability to make everyone smile. That's how I'll always remember him," she shared. The actress further reflected on how Bigg Boss had created a lifelong connection between them. "The bonds we form inside that house are very real. We live together, share every emotion, and become like family. Raju sir was one of the most genuine people I met during that journey," Bhoomi said.
