Meta is going to organise its developer event, Meta Connect 2025. It will run from September 17 to 18. Just like every year, the annual developer event will begin with the keynote from CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The event is expected to focus on Meta's latest innovations in AI, AR, and VR, with a particular focus on next-gen smart glasses. As per the reports, the social media giant will introduce the new generation of smart glasses. The company may also introduce the broader vision for artificial intelligence, contextual computing, and the future of the metaverse.

The event will kick off on September 17. Speaking of the timings, the Mark Zuckerberg keynote will start at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET / 1 AM BST and 5:30 AM IST (September 18 in India). The next day, Meta will organise the Developer Keynote at 10 AM PT (10:30 PM IST), focusing on building new experiences with devices. Further, at 10:45 AM PT, Michael Abrash (Chief Scientist, Reality Labs) and Richard Newcombe (VP, Reality Labs Research) will talk about the future of glasses with contextual AI and Meta's vision.

The fans can stream the event live on the YouTube channel, Facebook, and other social media platforms.

As per the reports, the company may introduce long-rumored Meta Hypernova (aka Meta Celeste) smart glasses, featuring AR waveguide displays and a wristband for gesture control. The company could also unveil Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 glasses, with fresh designs, longer battery life, and more advanced Meta AI features.

There are also speculations about the Meta Quest 4 and Asus ROG Tarius VR headset, a performance-focused device running Horizon OS, both out of Meta's collaboration with Asus. The company may also announce AI roadmaps, new AI apps and new vision.
