Russia respects Serbia's independent foreign policy, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin, who met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Beijing today. "We respect Serbia's independent foreign policy course under your leadership," Putin stated, as reported by Serbian media. "I recall our previous meeting in Moscow, and I am delighted to meet you on the sidelines of the celebrations today and tomorrow for the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II," the Kremlin leader added, emphasising that Russia and Serbia's strategic partnership benefits both sides and yields positive results for both countries.
