A beloved couple from the hit Korean dating reality show Divorced Singles 4 has officially called it quits. Benita and Jerome, who won over viewers with their chemistry and heartwarming love story, announced their breakup after two years of public dating.

On September 1, 2025, Benita shared a heartfelt message on her personal account, thanking fans for their support and explaining that the pair decided to part ways on good terms.

"Hello, this is Benita.

After much thought, I decided it was right to thank everyone who supported us, so I am posting this carefully. We met in a special way, spent time together, created many memories, and received so much support. But with gratitude in our hearts, we have decided to go our separate ways. It's a decision made without resentment, only for the betterment of each of our lives.

I am grateful to those who supported us, and I hope you will continue to watch over us warmly as we stand alone. I will take a short break and return with a more mature self."

The two met on Divorced Singles 4 in 2023 and quickly became one of the show's standout couples, alongside Heejin and Jimmy. Their relationship was often spotlighted, from appearing in Divorced Singles: Spin-off to making joint radio appearances that showcased their affection.

As recently as July, speculation swirled about a possible marriage after it was revealed the couple had been living together. However, instead of wedding bells, fans were met with the news of their separation.
