Current confidence suggests freezing rain onset near 3AM lasting into the afternoon. Hourly ice accumulations above 0.02" expected at the height through most of the morning hours. Above freezing temperatures slowly build from south to north through the afternoon and early evening, decreasing overall freezing concerns. Highest overall ice accumulations near 0.2" are expected in northeast Iowa and 0.05"-0.15" possible elsewhere from far southwest Wisconsin through southeast Minnesota.
