A woman who sustained life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash Monday night has died, Davenport police said.
In a news release issued Friday, police said that Samantha Burke, 31, of Bettendorf, succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.
The crash occurred at 10:19 p.m. Monday, May 26, at the intersection of West 49th Street and North Pine Street.
The collision involved the motorcycle on which Burke was a passenger and a passenger vehicle.
The driver of the motorcycle, whose name has not been released, was seriously injured, while Burke suffered life-threatening injuries.
The three occupants of the passenger vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by Davenport Police Department's Traffic Safety Unit.
