Indianapolis-based Pet Wellness Clinics recently announced that Avalon Animal Clinic, 8076 North Shadeland Ave., has joined its network of animal hospitals and clinics and has rebranded as Avalon Pet Wellness Clinic.

According to the announcement, Pet Wellness Clinics locations throughout Indianapolis provide routine check-ups, surgeries and specialized treatments.

Over the next few months, the clinic will transition from Avalon Animal Clinic to Avalon Pet Wellness Clinic, including a new building sign. All veterinarians and staff will remain at the clinic throughout the transition, according to the announcement.

A pet's records and history can be accessed by any facility in the Pet Wellness Clinics network, allowing customers to schedule appointments -- including same-day, next-day or weekend appointments -- across all Pet Wellness Clinics locations.
