WASHINGTON (TNND) -- Pop-star Katy Perry, 41, and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, 53, have made their relationship public following months of public speculation of their budding romance.

The "I Kissed a Girl" singer was holding hands with Trudeau while walking out of a cabaret show at the Crazy Horse Paris in Paris, France over the weekend. The couple attended the show in celebration of Perry's 41st birthday.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Perry and Trudeau were spotted kissing and hugging each other on the deck of Perry's yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California. Perry and Trudeau were first publicly seen together in July, the same month that Perry ended her decade-long relationship with actor Orlando Bloom, who she shares a daughter with. Photos and videos show taken by TMZ showed Perry and Trudeau sharing a meal at Le Violon, an upscale restaurant in Montreal.

Perry teased during a recent concert in London that her relationship status may no longer be single.

"London, England, you're like this on a Monday night after a whole day at work and a whole day at school?" Perry told the crowd, according to the Sun. "No wonder I fall for Englishmen all the time but not anymore."

Perry's ex partner Bloom is from the United Kingdom.

During that same concert, a fan surprised Perry with a marriage proposal.

While the "Dark Horse" singer has not been single for long; Trudeau divorced his wife of 18 years ago in 2023. Trudeau and ex-wife Sophie Grégoire share three children together. He resigned as Canada's prime minister in April, amid President Donald Trump's trade war. He began serving as prime minister in 2015.
