NBA daily fantasy lineups: SGA, Zach LaVine headline best DFS picks, player prop for Wednesday, Mar. 5

The NBA has another seven-game slate scheduled for Wednesday night, giving DFS enthusiasts a fairly deep player pool from which to draft their teams.

As always, this column will shine a light on some of the best daily fantasy plays of the evening. Today, that includes one truly elite stud, a few players we view as value picks, and some under-the-radar sleepers. The ultimate goal: help you place in a tournament and take home some contest cash.

Let's get right to our DFS lineup for Wednesday night and briefly explain why each player made the cut. Good luck, have fun, and go make some money!

Look, we won't mince words -- SGA has been the No. 1 DFS option and the most reliable big-game player all season. In a fairly evenly matched contest in Memphis, he will need to be his MVP frontrunner self if OKC wants to bag a win. He did that last time out against Memphis, putting up 51 points and 73.3 fantasy points. He probably won't log another 50-piece, but 50-60 combined points, rebounds and assists with some defensive stats is absolutely possible.

LsVine has been solid since he joined the Kings, clearly motivated by his new franchise. He's averagine nearly 40 DK points per game (PPG) over the Kings' past four games, now he gets to take aim at an underwhelming Nuggets defense that could very well be without Nikola Jokic (ankle). This seems like a great price.

Another swingman who recently landed with a new team, Middleton has finally started to look like his old self over the Wizards' past few games. He can still make plays and knock down shots, and the less-experienced Washington players will always defer to him when the pressure is on. We like Middleton to be a solid value at this modest price.

Horford might very well benefit from the Celtics sitting the majority of their starters against Portland, and he will probably need to be productive for the Green to come away with a dub. The Blazers have been feisty, but they still stink on defense and they're not great on the road. Watch for Big Al to turn back time this evening.

Filipowski has been great over the past few games, putting up DK scores of 29.8, 37.3 and 36.5 against the Wolves, Pelicans and Pistons. Now he draws a Wizards D that has been absolutely awful all season, especially against bigs and stretch-fours. Utah has committed more to its young talent over the past couple of weeks, and this should be a prime opportunity for the rookie to shine.

DiVincenzo needed to kick the rust off once he returned from his injury, but he seems to be all good now. He has averaged 34.3 fantasy PPG over the past 10 days, and the Hornets' defense shouldn't pose much of a threat to him.

Wells hasn't just broken out in the past few weeks -- he has fully emerged as a Rookie of the Year contender. The Grizzlies sharpshooter can fill up a stat sheet in a number of ways, providing instant offense, timely playmaking and solid perimeter defense. Expect him to step up and surprise some Thunder vets.

Kennard is still being listed at bargain prices, even though he has posted a combined 67.3 fantasy points over the Grizzlies' past two games. Memphis will need some threes and some playmaking to compete with OKC, and Kennard provides both. He won't be listed below $5,000 for much longer.
