iQOO 15 confirmed to launch in India in November: Specs, expected price and everything else we know

iQOO 15 confirmed for India in November with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 2K 144Hz display, 50MP cameras, 7,000mAh battery, and wireless charging.

iQOO has officially confirmed that its next flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15, will launch in India this November. The announcement was made by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya on X (formerly Twitter). While the exact launch date in India is yet to be revealed, the phone will first make its debut in China on October 20.

The company has already teased some key features of the iQOO 15, confirming that it will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The phone will run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box and promises several upgrades over its predecessor. Notably, it will support 144fps gameplay at 2K resolution and introduce a new Q3 gaming chip for smoother performance.

The India variant is expected to share most of its specifications with the Chinese model. It will likely feature a 6.8-inch 2K Samsung Everest OLED display with M14 light-emitting material, a 144Hz refresh rate, 6000 nits peak brightness, and a 3200Hz touch sampling rate. These upgrades are aimed at providing a more immersive gaming and multimedia experience.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC will be paired with the Q3 e-sports chip, which promises improved frame stability, lower power consumption, and support for full-scenario ray tracing in compatible games, making graphics look more realistic.

On the camera front, the iQOO 15 could include a 50MP main sensor (1/1.5-inch) and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom with a 70mm focal length. Photography and videography are expected to be a strong point for this flagship device.

One of the standout features of the iQOO 15 is its 7,000mAh battery, which supports 100W fast charging and, for the first time in an iQOO device, 40W wireless charging. This makes it not just a powerful gaming phone but also a device that can handle long hours of usage without worrying about running out of battery.

With the iQOO 15, the company seems ready to compete aggressively in the premium smartphone space in India, offering high-end performance, gaming-centric features, and large battery life, all packed in a sleek package.
