One person and three cats died in a trailer fire in Colerain Township Saturday afternoon, according to a news release.
Fire crews were dispatched to the 8300 block of Stahley Drive around 4:03 p.m., Colerain fire said in the release. When crews arrived, there was a working fire with flames showing outside the trailer.
After extinguishing the fire within a few minutes, crews conducted a search of the trailer and found one person dead along with three cats, Colerain fire said.
The victim has not yet been identified and the cause of death is unknown.
The Ohio Fire Marshal and Colerain Township Fire Investigation Unit are investigating the cause of the fire.
This house fire marks the third one in Greater Cincinnati within the past few days. On Friday evening, a fire at a Pleasant Ridge apartment displaced two families and injured a firefighter while a house fire in Oakley displaced two adults and one child.
