Budget retailer Heron Foods is preparing to open its latest North Staffordshire branch. The company has snapped up the old Nisa unit, on Church Street, in Audley.

It comes as Heron Foods is currently advertising for a manager, duty manager, senior and junior sales assistants, and a cleaner to work at the new store. The store manager will be paid up to £32,000 - plus bonuses.

The Nisa store closed in January.
