Two rising stars took centre stage at the Bidford on Avon Tennis Club Championships with the senior singles titles going to 13-year-old Max Desmond and 12-year-old Poppy Harman.
Harman's victory came in a unique ladies' final against her mother, Pauline, while Desmond edged a tight three-setter to land the men's crown.
The Harman's wrote a little bit of club history in the first competitive meeting between mother and daughter, Poppy keeping her nerve to prevail 7-5, 6-3.
The 12-year-old showed composure beyond her years in the key moments of both sets, closing out long rallies and serving with authority when it mattered.
Desmond, 13, sealed the men's title after a gripping back-and-forth contest with Matt Pierson that went the distance.
In a match of fine margins and momentum swings, the junior kept pressing deep into the third set to complete a breakthrough win that underlines his promise.
There were notable successes across the doubles draws, too.
In the men's doubles, the experienced pairing of David Wiseman and David Keays took the honours after a polished run through the field.
Leah Cravan and Helen Keays teamed up superbly to claim the ladies' doubles title, while Jenny Spiers and David Howard edged a thriller in the mixed, clinching the final in a deciding third-set tie-break 10-8.
Finals day also showcased the club's fresh look following recent refurbishment.
The state-of-the-art hard courts have been newly repainted, with new benches and nets now in place - providing a smart backdrop for an excellent standard of tennis.
