The J. M. Smucker Company has initiated a withdrawal of select lots of Hostess Ding Dongs products sold in the United States due to the potential for the presence of mold. No other items manufactured by The J.M. Smucker Co. are impacted by this issue. Let's take a bit out of the details.

On Thursday August 21st the Smucker Company issued a recall of the following Ding Dongs brands:

What you want to specifically look for are the "best by" dates on the packaging. If you see "best by" dates of August 30th 2025, August 31st 2025, September 1st 2025, September 2nd 2025, and September 3rd 2025 it is suggested you do not eat them, instead, return them to your point of purchase for a refund or replacement.
