If you're not a fan of the cold, or need some Vitamin D, here's some inspiration

Sunseekers are scouring for winter getaway deals as the dark nights get colder and there are plenty of breaks on offer.

This year, Jet2 and Jet2holidays announced they would be providing flights and getaways to 13 sunny destinations from Bristol Airport in Winter 2026 and 2027 in their biggest ever winter sun programme, with the airport already offering flights with other airlines and holiday providers to a vast array of hot destinations this winter, too. EasyJet, Tui and Ryanair are among the list.

According to the Bristol Airport website: "Embrace the warmth of a winter sun holiday and trade frosty mornings for sunny adventures, relaxation, and rejuvenation in these sun-kissed destinations." Some 17 locations are listed among the offering - we've compiled all the information you need to know for each one, including how regular flights are and, most importantly, the temperatures you can expect once you get there (based on a trip in December 2025)...

Fuerteventura

Flights: All year round - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Temperatures: Highs between 18C and 22C
