FERGUSON -- St. Louis County prosecutors have charged a man with a felony after he boarded a school bus with his 6-year-old daughter and directed her to punch a 7-year-old girl in the head.
Maurice Fox, of the 200 block of Wooster Drive in Ferguson, faces a felony charge of harassment, two misdemeanor assault charges and one misdemeanor charge of trespassing on a school bus after the Thursday morning incident.
Ferguson police say Fox boarded the Ferguson-Florissant School District bus a little after 9 a.m. Thursday morning with his daughter. The bus driver tried to stop him, but Fox pushed past him.
Police said Fox then walked to where a 7-year-old girl was seated, threatened her and told his daughter to do "what I told you to do." Fox's daughter began punching the other girl in the head. After she stopped, Fox told her, "again," and she began punching the 7-year-old once more.
