Bishkek, Oct 2.2025 /Kabar/. Central Election Committee (CEC) informs that registration of candidates for members of Kyrgyz Parliament ends on November 10. According to the information, the "Electronic Candidate" program has been introduced for the registration of candidates, which allows candidates to submit their documents electronically. Verification of the compliance of candidates' data with the requirements of the legislation is carried out through Tunduk system.

As noted by CEC, political parties nominate one candidate for deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh for each multi-mandate constituency by secret ballot at the congress of the political party.

When nominating candidates for deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh for multi-mandate constituencies, a political party is obliged to comply with the requirement that no more than 70 percent of the total number of candidates be of the same sex.

Nomination of a candidate for deputy in a multi-mandate constituency in the self-nomination procedure is carried out by submitting an application to the CEC by the candidate about his intention to put his candidacy on the ballot for this constituency.
