A source told Daily Mail that "Billie and Nat are just friends" recently, after months of speculation over whether they are dating.

"They're more like siblings than anything else and there is no romance between them. Billie is much more interested in women right now," the source added.

Romance rumors surfaced once again after Nat came to Billie's defense on Instagram amid critics claiming she doesn't write her own music, adding: "Ur wrong" in the comments. "They cowrite everything together and are both geniuses. That kind of question is so annoying."

The rumors also continued after they were seen together at an awards show just a few weeks ago.
