PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) -- After a gorgeous Saturday, our temperatures will fall through the 70s this evening and will drop into the 60s by tonight. Skies will continue to remain mainly clear overnight.
Our beautiful weather continues into Sunday with morning lows in the upper 50s and highs remaining in the low 80s. We'll also see mostly sunny skies on Sunday with a few more clouds than Saturday.
Partly cloudy skies return on Monday with morning lows in the low 60s and afternoon highs continuing to reach the low 80s.
We'll be watching the potential for some stray showers on Tuesday; however, the chance for rain right now remains low. Our morning temperatures start off in the low 60s and afternoon highs reach the mid 70s. Skies will be mostly cloudy, which will help keep us slightly cooler than the previous days, and the chance for rain is 20%.
A mix of sun and clouds with isolated showers is possible on Wednesday. Temperatures will be similar to Tuesday with morning lows in the low 60s and highs in the mid 70s. The chance for rain is 30%. Our rain chances on Tuesday and Wednesday depend on a low-pressure system developing off the coast and how far inland it moves.
